It might not look like all that much, but this room is a big reason we own this home. My first home had no entry hall and after living with all the just-walked-in-the-door bags, coats, mail and other clutter in my living room, an entry hall was close to the top of my "list" for my next home. Not only is this a lovely formal entry hall, but there's also a huge coat closet. Your inner neat freak can rejoice... my not-so-inner one did.
