What classic Craftsman bungalow would be complete without a big, covered, cozy front porch? We just redid the decking with beautiful clear, verticle-grained fir. This really is like having an extra room out front.

The landscaping all the way around the building has been freshly, professionally re-done and is professionally maintained too. Just sit out there on the porch and enjoy watching it grow in. The side yard is host to an ancient grape vine we're training up a new arbor, a big old rhubarb patch and an established herb bed (sage, rosemary, lavendar). We also left a nice big area open for gardening... it's a sunny southern exposure and a terrific spot for veggies.
