We love to cook, so I agonized over the kitchen design.
A gas range was a must-have. This
was the only kitchen in the building I managed to outfit with a dishwasher.
The newer side-by-side fridge has an ice-maker and filtered water and
ice dispenser in the door. The deep full-extension drawers, stainless
steel
shelves
and 39" upper
cabinets hold far more than you'd imagine a small kitchen could.

| The sink is extra deep and has
a matte chrome faucet. We've accessorized with more space-savers: spice
rack, paper towel holder,
and utensil holder. The nifty halogen wire lighting system is on a dimmer
and there are under-cabinet lights too. We love the mix of materials:
butcher block counters, rustic saltillo tile floors, white lacquer, steel,
