We both love to cook, so the kitchen design was important. A gas range was a must. The deep full-extension drawers (big enough for pots and pans), 7' tall by 2' deep pantry cabinet, stainless steel shelves and roomy upper cabinets hold far more than you'd imagine a small kitchen could. The sink is extra deep and has a matte chrome faucet. We've tried to install as many space-savers as we could: spice rack, paper towel holder and utensil holder. The nifty halogen wire lighting system is on a dimmer and there are under-cabinet lights too. We love the mix of materials: butcher block counters, saltillo tile floors (with paw prints in a few), white lacquer, steel, glass and aluminum. There's just enough room in the corner for a bistro table and chair. Dimensions: 8' by 10'.
