Our tile setter is a mosaic artist and she had some fun with the slate in this bathroom. Her idea was that the vertical lines create the impression of being in a forest and we think she's right.

Against the colorful tile the white, high-gloss vanity and shiny, modern, chrome fixtures really looks clean and shiny. Plus the rough tile is trimmed with machined aluminum, which makes a nice contrast.

The medicine cabinet over the toilet revolves... storage on one side and a mirror on the other.
