Super-cool and super-fuctional. High-gloss blue cabinets have integrated aluminum pulls for a clean, sleek look. We mixed in a few frosted glass/aluminum door fronts for interest.

There is an amazing amount of storage in this kitchen. Drawers are all on full-extension runners and large enough for your biggest pots and pans. There's a pull-out pantry cabinet next to the range for spices, oils and other cooking essentials. The laundry area has a floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinet for even more storage. Appliances are all new as of 2006: stainless steel refrigerator with an automatic icemaker, stainless steel dishwasher, stainless steel smooth-top range, stainless steel range hood. There is a cabinet set up for your microwave. The flooring throughout the kitchen is slate tile. Countertops are solid oak butcher-block. Lighting is low-voltage halogen on a dimmer overhead, a range hood and halogen under-cabinet lights.

We've put in a new stainless steel sink and contemporary faucet under a the kitchen window with a view of Forest Park and the River. Not at all a bad setting for doing your dishes.

The kitchen is open to the dining area, which is open to the living room... a nice modern, open floor plan, great for entertaining.
