6907 N. John Ave (The Lena)
Wouldn't this be nice to wake up to? This incredible view of the St Johns bridge and the Willamette River, with Linnton and Forest Park beyond, is from the bedroom window. With its 408 ft tall gothic towers, the St Johns bridge is unquestionably Portland's most beautiful. Dedicated during the Rose Festival of 1931, its engineer David Steinman said, "It is the ethical duty of the builders to make bridges beautiful as well as useful". We totally agree. |
