The vintage eat-in kitchen is functional as it is well-preserved. The large original cabinets have ample storage and spots to display your favorite knick knacks. Newer terra cotta tile floors add a warm glow. This home had only one owner for its first 51 years, and she must have cleaned that period range with a toothbrush. We reluctantly replaced the original refrigerator a few years ago, but nothing could bring us to part with the fabulous 40's light fixture. We've recently installed a new tile backsplash and under-cabinet lights over new butcherblock counters.
