Tucked away from the street, behind a cedar fence, is the private courtyard. Designed by a landscape architect and professionally installed the fall of 2004, the vine maple, bamboo, flax and grasses and other interesting ornamental plants are still filing in and maturing. We envisioned this space as a shared outdoor living room, so nestled in the plantings is a cozy patio with a table and chairs... drink your cup o’ joe in the morning, catch some afternoon rays with a good book, dine al fresco on a summer evening.
